A la Carted

Age Concern have started a new service for the elderly in Herne Bay. 'A la Carted’  is their new home meal delivery service, introduced to meet the demand in Herne Bay for a nice hot fresh cooked meal delivered to the door. Operating five days a week they will prepare and cook a hot meal in their kitchens and deliver it onto the plate between 12 noon and 1.15pm each day.

For further details, to request a menu or to join the scheme please contact Brenda Kemp on 01227 360494 or email brenda.kemp@ageconcernhernebay.org

I have had the meals from Age Concern since before Christmas and I can honestly say they are excellent. I have had others and also frozen meals but to have a good hot meal delivered onto a plate is just great.
I would say to other elderly people to give them a try.
