Promises, promises

I agree totally with the MP. Companies make all these promises and they don't happen! I've seen it first hand as I'm in the building trade. The proposed plans are completely unnecessary, and will not benefit the town at all.

The roads around the surrounding area WILL NOT cope with the increased traffic. The roads around Sweechbridge are extremely narrow and passing cars have to come to a stop to let single decker busses pass, as there just isn't enough room. Will they even think of expanding the roads? If they do that's another cost and expense and a prolonged building time which will cause absolute chaos in the village. It's busy enough with the school starting and finishing time, it gets completely chockablock. As for the sewers which have been mentioned before, we have had major problems up on the new Barnes Way estate and it's not going to help!!

It's a favoured dog walking spot, not only that its a nice peaceful spot where couples can just go for a walk and take in the surrounding views. You really want to give and dig this all up for houses which will do more damage than good??
